I got into trouble with KXY's own Tracy Thomas for not updating my shoutok page, so I figured I'd better get it updated. If you have not checked out the KXY website, you need to do so. We have a link to the nascar page that is really cool, and we also have pictures of our pets of the week that are needing a home. If you are looking for a pet, the Oklahoma City animal shelter has a bunch of great animals just waiting for a place to call home!!
CMN Radiothon Continues...

The KXY Children's Miracle Network Radiothon is now in day two. Unfortunately, we are way behind the donations that we had at this time last year. If you have a couple of bucks that you can spare, every dollar counts. We have several ways that you can donate. There is a "bedlam race" where you can buy an OU or OSU paper football for $1. Currently, OU is ahead. You can also become a KXY Kid's Club member. It is $15 per month for a year. It can be billed to you monthly, or can be automatically billed to your creditcard or checking account with autopay. All of the money stays right here in Oklahoma. Please help us help the kids. Every dollar counts! To make a donation, call 231-4151 or 1-888-229-KIDS or 1-888-229-8430.
Thank you!
We have all said 'I'm sorry", but what does it loo
That's one big pumpkin patch!!
PUMPKIN RECORD BREAKER.
The world record for the most jack-o'-lanterns lit in one place was shattered over the weekend in Boston Common where over 30 thousand pumpkins were sculpted. Keene, New Hampshire held the world record for three years with roughly 29 thousand pumpkins lit in one place. According to the Associated Press, an estimated 100 thousand people crowded onto the Common to slice, scoop and sculpt pumpkins at the event sponsored by the Boston clothing company, Life is Good. The event raised thousands of dollars for charities.

Hey there gang! 96.1 KXY needs your help. Our KXY Loves Kids radiothon is just around the corner. We are starting something new this year called the KXY Koins for Kids. We are looking for "KXY Koin Kollecters". If you sign up, you will be the one to collect spare change from your friends and co-workers. The person that collects the most change will win tickets to the Brad Paisley/Carrie Underwood concert on November 18th, dinner for two, and a limo ride!!!!! To sign up, just log on to www.cmri.net. Click on the KXY Koins for Kids logo on the right hand side of the screen. It will walk you through the sign-up. They will deliver a "coin bag" and other goodies right to your door.
